Lowell TNR to Trap Cats 1/26-1/27
A group of local organizations and individual volunteers have set forth an initiative to help control the feral cat population in Lowell.
Please note, this organization is in no way affiliated with the Lowell Police Department or Lowell Animal Control.
The Lowell Trap Neuter Return Collaborative will be trapping cats on 1/26 and 1/27. They will be trapping on Floyd Street (near Kinsman end), Shaw Street (down near Rt 110 end), Sayles St, Wood Street near Tulip, Middlesex Street (intersection of Middlesex and Wilder). Snow Emergency Parking Ban
Superintendent Lavallee has declared a Snow Emergency Parking Ban on Wednesday January 16, 2013, at 12:00 A.M. The ban shall be effective six hours later at 6:00 A.M. on Wednesday January 16, 2013.
There shall be no parking on the City Streets from 6:00 A.M. until such time that the ban is lifted. Motor vehicles parking in violation of such ban (City Ordinance, sec. 19-89) are subject to towing under the authority of the Lowell Police Department and such towing will be at the owner’s expense (sec. 19-90). Motor Vehicles shall also receive a parking violation ticket.
