The LPD has recently partnered with Citizen Observer to implement a text-a-tip line. If you have a tip on a crime, you can now text the LPD completely anonymously. To successfully text-a-tip, just text “LPDtip” and your tip to Tip411 (847411). Each tip must begin with”LPDtip.” If the tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a monetary reward.

Through the Citizen Observer website, residents can now also sign up to receive alerts from the LPD. Visit the Citizen Observer website at: http://citizenobserver.com/cov6/app/group.html?id=3944 and sign up to receive LPD alerts.
