Greater Lowell Ex-Offender Reentry Community Forum & Resource Fair

The Greater Lowell Ex-Offender Reentry Partnership (GLERP) would like to invite you to the Community Forum & Resource Fair on September 21, 2012 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at Middlesex Community College, 33 Kearney Square.

The GLERP is a partnership between local and regional organizations and agencies working to bridge resources for ex-offenders reentering the community. The goal is to provide each ex-offender with opportunities for success and reduce recidivism in the region.

The Community Forum will focus on the progress of the partnership since its development and what the next steps will be. The Forum will include City Manager Bernard F. Lynch, Superintendent of Police Kenneth Lavallee and various speakers from various agencies. The Forum is open to the public and will be followed by a Resource Fair.
  • Community Forum – 9:00 am -12:00 pm
  • Resource Fair – 12:00 pm -1:00 pm

Participating organizations will include the Career Center of Lowell, Center for Hope and Healing, CTI YouthBuild, Lowell General Hospital, Lowell Health Department, Lowell House, Lowell Police Department, Lowell Transitional Living Center, Middlesex Community College and UTEC.
