Lowell Police Conduct Job Fair
The Lowell Police Department along with the City of Lowell Human Resources Office will be conducting a job fair next week. With the assistance of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and Middlesex Community College, the fair will be held at both campuses. The first fair will be held in Lowell at the Middlesex Community College café on Monday February 25th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The next fair will be held at U Mass-Lowell on Wednesday February 27th at the South Campus also at the student café between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Lowell Police Department continues to work closely with its community partners. We are looking for young, energetic and enthusiastic individuals that represent our cities cultural diversity that can be positive role models. The LPD is looking for individuals who are fair and impartial who would be committed to not only addressing public safety needs but also committed to working to improve the quality of live for its residents. There will be officers on hand to inform you of the benefits of becoming a member of the Lowell PD. Both men and women are encouraged to attend and participate in the process. I just found out about this job fair at the last minute and will be unable to leave work to make it up to the campus in time today. Is there any other way of getting information regarding the recruiting? and is this open to only Lowell residents? i have already passed the civil service exam and have been looking for an opportunity.
