Has anyone else noticed the ways in which “people” seem to enjoy complaining when people in the public eye “mess up”(such as TEACHERS, police officers, mailman?)Annoyed by this evilness, I decided to do the opposite and I am starting this mission with pointing out “a little kindness”, extended to me during my 2 encounters with law enforcement this week (been a slow week!) I wanted to thank Officer ______? As I was driving home from the “WILD Memorial Day Bash” at my parent’s house (present at this bash was: myself, my bro, and my parents…all 4 of us attended this CRAZY BASH!) ANYWAYS, my car ran out of gas in the middle of rte 110 and Bridge st. Traffic was heavy, and my car was in a dangerous spot…out of nowhere (as if a super-hero fell out of the sky) THIS GUY ON A BIKE (complete with helmet and safety glasses etc.) came to my rescue, and immediately assisted by bravely pushing my very heavy taurus out of the road, and into Dunkins lot-…without the help of this HERO….The ending could have left us feeling empty! This concerned officer also followed-up on FB, by sending me a message that very night…HIS concern was well appreciated and I thank you “CRAZY KEVIN” (no idea what ur real name is, but THANK YOU just the same)! The 2nd officer I would like to extend my gratitude towards is Officer Peter Kelleher….Without going into detail,I was not driving a vehicle that was 100% legal to drive at that moment unknowingly…. I took care of the problem the very next day (which I usually procrastinate) Officer Kelleher seemed to understand and was lenient on me and he did not have to be, therefore, I respectfully stuck to my word: and took care of the situation the next day ! Now I dont have to hold my breathe when I pass by a police car, a cop, or a man on a bike ! Thanks again LPD…Your not as bad as THEY say (who cares, I dont even know them!)Sincerely, Kathy McInnis
